CBet: Continuation Bet

The CBet statistic is the percentage of the time that a player makes a continuation bet given the opportunity to do so. In other words, when the player was the last raiser in the previous round and it's checked to them, CBet is the percentage of the time that they bet.

Some players make a continuation bet almost automatically, giving them a high CBet. When their hand improved, they're betting for value. When they missed a draw, they're bluffing. Because they demonstrated strength in the previous round, it's hard to tell the difference between the two. Against these opponents, you will want to call down with some of your better hands to catch some of their bluffs.

Other opponents are less aggressive and tend to make a continuation bet only when their hand is still strong, giving them a low CBet. Against these opponents, you should tend to fold with your weaker holdings.
