About Poker Sleuth
Poker Sleuth began life as a small personal project of a lone graduate student. Although the tools were often neglected, they had good genetics: their graduate student was working on a doctorate in Computer Science and his dissertation focused on measurement and modeling.
Poker Sleuth grew in fits and starts. Dozens of small command-line tools languished in little directories, forgotten for weeks at a time. Equity calculators, trackers, graph generators, and several tools to analyze opponents. Occasionally, they'd experience a growth spurt when more tools would appear and existing tools became faster.
Eventually, the dissertation passed away and the little poker tools began to receive the long-due attention they deserved. They sprouted graphical user interfaces, installation software, and their very own website.
